How to give an infant oral medications

Follow the instructions on the bottle. This one says to shake.

Invert nipple into bottle. This gives you a free hand as you measure.

Measure out the correct dosage.

Put medication into nipple.

Put the nipple with medication into baby's mouth. This ensures that the entire dosage is consumed.

Put nipple on bottle. Feed baby. This ensures all medication is consumed, including anything that stuck the side of the nipple. Not required, because dosage includes this amount of variable.
